Delegates met for a Sustainable Business Breakfast in Holbrook, Horsham, to hear from topic experts and local case study speakers.

Stuart Davies and James Dorrell from Bloom explored carbon footprinting and environmental reporting within businesses. The company have since saved thousands through implementing initiatives such as LED lighting and efficient heating and cooling systems.

Green Champion Diane Stenning from the Old Tollgate Hotel and Restaurant in Steyning talked about how energy saving initiatives including hot water and heating controls, electric car charging points and energy efficient light bulbs have secured a Green Tourism Gold Award for the hotel, and attracted corporate clients to use their meeting space and dining facilities.

After the presentations delegates introduced themselves, their businesses and shared their interest in the morning’s topic.
