Register Your Interest: Energy Efficiency Grants

The Sustainable Business Partnership CIC are in the final stages of securing EU funding to launch an Energy Efficiency Grants Scheme in the new year.

We hope to be able to offer small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) based in the Coast to Capital region between £1,000 and £5,000 to cover up to a third of the cost of installing best practice energy efficiency projects or next phase technologies.

Example projects could include:

• LED lighting, with appropriate switching or automatic controls
• Building insulation using low-impact materials
• Boiler upgrades, incorporating optimum start/stop or weather compensation controls
• Energy storage technologies
• Sub-metering or AMR
• Sun-tubes or projects to maximise natural light

The Coast to Capital region covers the whole of West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Lewes, Tandridge, Epsom & Ewell, Reigate & Banstead, Mole Valley and the London Borough of Croydon.

An SME is defined as an organisation with less than 250 employees and a turnover not exceeding €50 million or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million.

This will likely be the last EU funding available!
