Free Water Saving Devices
Southern Water are offering non-domestic customers (including businesses, schools, charities, parish councils) to whom they supply water, free water saving devices fitted by one of their engineers.
This includes:
- Automatic urinal controls (which typically cost around £200)
- Water efficient shower heads
- Dual flush mechanisms for toilets
- Save-a-flush bags
- Tap flow regulators
As an example, installing a sensor so that a urinal only flushes after use (and not each time the cistern fills) typically saves around £100 per year in water costs.
On arrival the water engineer will conduct a short survey of site to identify where savings can be achieved. They will explain which measures can be fitted and, with your agreement, can then be left to complete the installation. In total they will require no more than 2 or 3 hours on site.
A limited number of free visits / installations are available. Your water must be supplied by Southern Water to be eligible. To check please look at a recent bill or enter your postcode at: www.southernwater.co.uk/your-area
Please complete the form below and a member of the Southern Water team will be in touch.
