Event: Museum Facilities Managers’ Forum: 16th October, Weald & Downland Living Museum
We are excited to announce that our 8th Museum Facilities Managers’ Forum will be held at Weald & Downland Living Museum on 16th October 2017, from 10:00 – 13:00. This event is aimed at those working for museums who are responsible for monitoring and reducing their energy use.
This event is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please contact us.
The Forum Meeting will start with a welcome led by Shelaine Siepel of the Sustainable Business Partnership. All delegates will then have the opportunity to introduce themselves and talk about a facilities-related project at their site. This will be followed by a guided tour of Weald & Downland, giving delegates the chance to see their sustainability measures first-hand and ask questions along the way.
Lunch will be provided, followed by a discussion on the future of the Forum, in which delegates can consider how future meetings can be organised and communicated.
For directions to Weald & Downland, visit their website. Upon booking a place on the event, delegates will receive information on organising a carpool, facilitated by the Sustainable Business Partnership.
The SBP would like to thank Elaine Sansom of the South East Museum Development Programme, as always, for helping with organising this event. We would also like to thank Anna Nelson of Weald & Downland for kindly agreeing to host the event.
