Shoreham-Breakfast-DelegateIt was a full house in Shoreham-by-Sea for our Sustainable Business Breakfast looking at energy efficiency; in-house and on-the-road.

Simon Locke, International Environment Manager at The Body Shop, shared how they are improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of their stores by installing energy efficient lighting, sourcing sustainable flooring and building materials and training store managers. The beauty products company have also installed solar PV and a waste segregater at their Littlehampton headquarters.

Craig Copeland, Director of environmental consultancy Carbon Minded, explored how businesses can ensure that they receive the best when comparing energy prices, examining site demand and contract small print. Download his presentation.

Shoreham-by-Sea Sustainable Business BreakfastRory Morgan, National Logistics General Manager at Iron Mountain, discussed how the global data management and storage company have significantly reduced the running cost of their fleet through monitoring technologies and driver training, picking up several business awards on the way.
