Presentations: Sustainable Business Breakfast – Littlehampton

It was a full house in Littlehampton for a renewable energy special Sustainable Business Breakfast. Delegates represented manufacturers, museums, solar and biomass installers, lighting specialists, colleges and a hair dressers to name but a few!

Howard John’s from Southern Solar opened the presentations, explaining how, despite the bad press, the Feed-in-Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive can still make renewables an attractive investment. Dan Vick from Arun District Council followed, giving an insight into planning implications for renewable installations, before Karen Taylor from Hampshire Cosmetics shared their experiences installing a 277 kWp system at their factory and warehouse in Waterlooville. Download the presentations.

The Sustainable Business Network links organisations keen to improve their environmental performance. Sustainable Business Breakfast learning and networking events are held bi-monthly, each focusing on a different topic, for example energy efficiency, waste minimisation, environmental management systems. Upcoming event dates and venues.
