Local & Sustainable Construction Exhibition – 14th June
A Green Growth Platform event offering an unmissable business development and networking opportunity for those working in construction and associated industries.

Waste Guidance Updated
The government have released new guidance on how businesses and householders should comply with Waste Duty of Care legislation. Did you know you have a legal responsibility to apply the waste hierarchy? To reduce and re-use materials before recycling or disposal?
Updates to the Environment Agency’s position on Low Risk Waste have also been published; activities where no permit is required.

Pre-fabricated and constructed in just 4½ days, Skyhouse Eco B&B is designed to maximise natural light and warmth with south-facing triple-glazed windows, high grade insulation and a heat exchanging ventilation system. A solar PV array provides electricity, a biomass boiler heating and hot water and rainwater harvesting system water to flush toilets and run the washing machine. Join us for a tour!

Investors in the Environment
Investors in the Environment is a three tier Environmental Management System accreditation scheme. Businesses can work through the Bronze, Silver and Green stages by establishing policies and targets to reduce environmental impact, measuring and reducing resource consumption and monitoring and reporting progress.
Locally the scheme is managed by Crawley based Gates Green Solutions who you may have met at some of our recent events. Fees vary depending on company size.
