The third session of the Green Growth Platform Environmental Managers Forum was hosted by Ricardo UK. Below are a few photos from the tour of the Shoreham Technical Centre. If you spot your yourself and would like a copy of a photo please let us know: info@sustainablebusiness.org.uk.

Forum members were shown Ricardo’s state of the art manufacturing and testing facilities. Their advancements in engine technology has meant that on a busy road, a modern Ricardo designed engine will often emit cleaner air than it takes in!

Well connected to local bike routes around 100 staff regularly cycle to work, sometimes incentivised by a free bacon roll! The company is now looking at ways to increase renewable energy generation on site, incorporated into a wider energy management system.
